Emilia's Kids is a newly approved Early Intervention Agency serving the Queens and the Bronx. Our program is available for children 0-3 years of age who have or are suspected of having a developmental delay and/or disability. Our EI program is a voluntary, free and public program funded by the New York State and County Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

We Provide:
ALL HOME BASED SERVICES Speech Therapy Feeding Therapy Occupational Therapy Sensory Gym Physical Therapy Social Work Special Instruction Vision Therapy CENTER BASED THERAPY Speech Therapy Occupational Therapy in a large SENSORY GYMS with swings, ball pit, Snoozler room, trampolines, and slides Physical therapy in a Gross Motor Gym with a rock wall, monkey bars, and zip line PARENT CHILD GROUPS Sensory and Language Based Social groups Offered in English, Spanish, Bengali, Tagalog, Greek, Farsi, Russian, Hindi, and Urdu Twice a week Parent Support Groups Done in conjuction with Parent Child Groups Training in various topics Hanen Program Based Family Training
All children must be referred to the municipality TOTLINE to access EI services at 1800 577-2229 or 1718579-6800 BRONX and 1718 271-1003 Queens. EIP eligibility must be determined by a State-approved evaluator under contract with the municipality. If the child is found eligible, all services are identified in collaboration with the parent and must be authorized with the municipality. The municipality will arrange for the service providers, however, when services are delivered in private child care settings or community locations that require a fee, the parent is responsible.
